Development Capital & Refinancing
Companies and businesses often require additional funding (often termed “Development Capital”) to achieve their growth objectives.
This could be project finance, working capital, scale up and expansion capital, capital expenditure and often the raising of new finance takes place alongside the refinancing of existing debt facilities, which have become inadequate or incorrectly structured for the shape of the business today.
Through our extensive network of contacts, and up to date knowledge of all aspects of the debt and equity markets, we can access the type of finance most appropriate to suit your needs.
We have extensive knowledge of the funding markets, including Private Equity funds, Family offices, clearing banks, challenger banks and asset backed lenders, in addition to institutional debt funds, peer-to-peer lending, and business angel funding.

- Review your business plan and financial projects and advise on both the amount of funding required to ensure adequate headroom and advise on the most appropriate funding in terms of the debt/equity mix.
- Advise on the most appropriate funding structure in terms of any debt requirement, for example amortising debt, bullet repayment structures or Mezzanine debt type structures.
- Assisting in preparation of presentations for funders, approaching appropriate funders and negotiating the terms of debt and equity requirement on your behalf.
- Completion of the fundraising exercise; once the preferred sources of funding have been identified, we will project manage the whole fundraising process, (which typically includes financial and legal due diligence, agreement of legal and funding documents), through to draw-down of the finance.
