Castle Square Corporate Finance successfully advise leading security services provider on its sale to an international, private equity-backed strategic acquirer

Castle Square Corporate Finance has successfully advised the shareholders of a leading security services provider on its sale to an international, private equity-backed strategic acquirer for an undisclosed sum.

The buyer and seller have chosen to keep the transaction confidential because of the sector in which both companies operate.

The acquisition brings together recognised capability and geographical reach, and forms part of the buyer’s wider growth strategy by strengthening its position in the UK market as it continues to expand.

The process was led by Richard Weston, Associate Director at Castle Square, supported by Sienna Withers and Zach Gilbert-Savage. Jenny Burke and David Filmer of Forbes Solicitors provided legal advice to the shareholders.

Richard said: “This has been a rewarding process for Castle Square, having sold the business to an ambitious buyer who are well placed to continue its excellent growth story over recent years, securing the shareholders’ legacy. Thank you to all the advisors who worked on the transaction.

The shareholders commented: “Castle Square were solid throughout, always going the extra mile. From ongoing negotiations to an excellent understanding of all the figures, through to liaising with third parties for us, which was a task in itself. We’d highly recommend Castle Square to anyone considering selling their business.”
