Castle Square Corporate Finance has advised the management of Collcap Packaging in the successful Management Buy-Out of equity that was in the hands of external private shareholders.
The Buy- Out was led by Managing Director John Mc Dermott and with the equity under management control for the first time the company is now targeting growth via an acquisition led strategy.
Collcap, through its UK operations based in Leek, Staffordshire and its subsidiary company in Hong Kong, is a leading provider of packaging and packaging solutions for cosmetics, perfume and personal care industries, via a full design and manufacturing service. The company counts the likes of Boots, Hugo Boss, Next, French Connection, Ted Baker and H & M amongst the companies and brands with which it works, providing a one stop shop for the design and supply of packaging for whole ranges of products for its customers.
Kevan Shaw, Director at Castle Square, led the advisory team at Castle Square and was assisted by Lisa Ritson. Adam Edwards of Barclays Bank, Stoke on Trent, provided the necessary finance for the Buy-Out and working capital facilities, and the legal team of Simon Woodings and Peter Ellis of Stoke based Beswicks Solicitors provided legal advice. Tax advice was provided by Adrian Hackett at the Sheffield office of Freeth Cartwright.
