A Sheffield company whose superb craftsmanship has adorned stately homes and prestige buildings such as the Royal Armouries in Leeds and Cardiff Opera House, has sold one of its divisions.

Decathlon, the water drainage system arm of Hodkin and Jones, specialists in glass reinforced polyester exterior features and quality architectural mouldings, has been acquired by brand leaders Marshalls of Elland, West Yorkshire. Hodkin and Jones, who were advised at all stages of the sale by Kevan Shaw, developed the Decathlon high capacity drainage system in conjunction with the University of Sheffield.

It is in use all over the country including major airports, docks, inland rail ports, motorways, theme parks, sports stadiums and supermarket complexes.
