Kevan Shaw of Castle Square Corporate Finance acted as lead advisor on the successful acquisition of Lea Green Foods Limited by Rydal International Food Group. Rydal manufactures food ingredients for the Ice Cream, Dessert, bakery and yoghurt markets from sites in Stoke on Trent and Hixon, Staffordshire. Lea Green Foods, based in St Helens is a leading provider of pastes and purees to the food service and manufacturing market and counts Brake Bros, 3663 and Greencore Group amongst its customers.
Kevan Shaw and Lisa Ritson advised on the deal, which was funded by Venture Finance, who join Barclays as funding partners to Rydal Food Group. Castle Square Corporate Finance continue to work with the Group as it continues to investigate acquisitions as part of its buy and build strategy
